In January we announced the winner of the latest Toad Hollow Vineyards Instagram contest: Jennifer McSpadden-Curtin of Healdsburg, California. Using the hashtag #THfineartoffall, Jennifer and dozens of other Toad Hollow Instagram followers submitted interpretations of the Fine Art of Fall.
Jennifer submitted more than one image of her favorite fall pastimes. The Toad Hollow staff recognized the image of Jennifer and her husband, John, serving up some luscious Toad wine, as the perfect fall pastime.
As described in the contest details, the winning image has served as inspiration for a Toad Hollow art poster designed by longtime Toad Hollow artist Maureen Erickson. Maureen has designed Toad Hollow Vineyards labels for more than 20 years. She’s also created countless fun-loving images of our Toad for posters (available online at frogntoadart.com), as well as for seasonal marketing promotions.
Maureen has once again combined the winning photo image with some Toad antics for a bright, lively, and sensational piece of art: Puttin on the Ritz. Signed by Maureen and Toad Hollow’s owner, Frankie Williams, the poster is on its way to Jennifer as we write. Serving Up the Toad will no doubt find an honored spot in the McSpadden-Curtin household, hanging somewhere next to a nice bottle of Toad Hollow Unoaked Chardonnay or in another place of honor!
